Lucky Yagr (15 July 894–13 March 912)
Son of Yaza of the House of Oleven. His father was unknown; his mother died in childbirth. Professor Yavorov, a distant relation who had known Yaza well, took the infant Yagr into his family.
Yagr grew up with Leya and Lyutovik, under Lilya’s care. From the age of twelve he went away for three-month stretches to an oratay school, spending the rest of his time on Yavros and at the hunting musters of Zembla’s oratai. He and Leya intended to marry the following year, in ’13, before he left for his first posting to an outpost on the Great Expanse.
